Hands on Learning

The process

We carefully select children we find in refugee communities that are old enough to benefit from tutoring and who's family is too impoverished to offer any extra tutoring service. We also seek students who have mothers we can contract to sew the watch straps. Once a student is selected we add them to the Sponsor Child page, where they will stay until they reach 500 hours (500 watches are bought for them), or graduate from 8th grade. Our tutors are verified, qualified, and contracted residents in the vicinity of the refugee community, who will provide after school help, along with consistent encouragement for the Kids. We are in the process of building an entire sister non profit that will contruct a whole orginization around helping refugee children.
